Montclair, NJ

I am a licensed psychologist in the state of New Jersey. I earned a Masters of Arts degree and Doctor of Psychology in school psychology from the University at Albany in 2007 and 2012 respectively. I earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from Hartwick College in 2004.

It has been my privilege to support children, adolescents, adults and families on their journeys for over two decades in a variety of settings and roles. I started as a mental health technician in hospital-based mental health units and later worked in crisis intervention services, trauma-focused residential treatment facilities, and school settings as a direct support provider. For over a decade, I have worked in non-profit and educational leadership. As a result I have worked with people who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, gender/sexuality issues as well as social and relational challenges.

I believe that all people are simultaneously works in progress and masterpieces. In therapy, I use a holistic, non-pathologizing approach that creates space for all parts of people and their experiences. I work to join individuals and families in collaborative partnerships that meet them where they are and support their goals for growth. To accomplish this, I use strategies from a variety of approaches including psychodynamic (Internal Family Systems), relational, play, and cognitive-behavioral (CBT).

I am a professional member of the following organizations:

  • American Psychological Association
  • National Association of School Psychologists
  • New Jersey Association of School Psychologists
