I am an executive function skills coach and special education teacher, who, for twenty-five years has enjoyed the reputation of ensuring success in neurodivergent learners of all ages.

As an executive function coach, with significant training and experience, I specialize in the implementation of effective strategies in study skills, organization, cognitive flexibility, time management, memory, and attention. I believe that success in executive functioning allows people to thrive in all environments whether at school, home or work. It is gratifying when together we can celebrate applied strategies to successfully set individualized SMART goals, engage in productive struggle, and apply effective effort. Client’s faces light up when they realize that resilience toward success is within reach.

As a skilled interventionist, I am well versed in the effective implementation of accommodations and modifications to ensure the success of clients with different abilities throughout the lifespan. I am a certified multi-sensory instructor who specializes in English Language Arts and Communication Arts strategies with an emphasis on written expression and critical thinking for comprehension.

I hold a Master’s degree in Special Education from Pennsylvania State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Baylor University. My career has allowed me to work with both children and adult learners, combining my love of teaching with a commitment to helping others grow. As an adjunct professor at Essex County College in New Jersey, I taught Introduction to Education. I am also Orton-Gillingham certified through the Institute of Multisensory Education, and I’ve had the privilege of presenting at the New Jersey International Dyslexia Association’s Winter Institute. In addition, I have led professional development workshops for educators in several school districts on topics such as Strategies to Improve Executive Function and Improving Comprehension in Struggling Readers.
