I am a clinical psychologist licensed in the states of New Jersey and New York. I joined Dr. Garcia’s practice in May 2014 and work with clients ranging in age across the lifespan, from infants to geriatric adults presenting with a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. I offer services in a variety of therapeutic modalities including individual therapy, couples therapy, dyadic therapy and family therapy.

I earned my PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology at Pace University. Prior to my doctoral training, I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology with Honors from the University of Maryland – College Park. My clinical experiences have included working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, oppositional defiant/conduct disorders, psychosis, parent/child relational issues, ADHD, dementia and attachment disorders in a variety of settings including psychiatric hospitals, outpatient clinics, nursing homes and schools. I also have extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychological assessments with children and adolescents and specialized training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and DIR interventions as well as Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) for the treatment of trauma.

Prior affiliations include the Youth Consultation Service at the Institute for Infant and Preschool Mental Health In East Orange, NJ where I specialized in play therapy and the treatment of mother-baby dyads and families and CHE Senior Psychological Services in NY. I am a member of the New York State Psychological Association.
