Patricia Lundgren, LCSW

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey and have been working in the field of mental health since 2012 in both clinical and leadership positions. I enjoy working with clients throughout the lifespan, from infancy to older adults, and across a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, life transitions, trauma, ADHD, neurodivergence challenges, gender issues, family and relational issues, attachment-based issues, personality disorders, and behavioral management.
I have worked in a multitude of settings including outpatient, intensive outpatient, and intensive in community (in home). I approach therapy through a client-centered, strengths-based lens, attuning to each individual’s lived experience and how that experience is shaping the way they move through the world. I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment, all while honoring the individual complexities that make us each unique.
I obtained my MSW from Rutgers University School of Social Work in 2012. Prior to my master’s I obtained my BA in Psychology from Caldwell University. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Trauma Focused CBT (TF-CBT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I have specialty training in Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH), as well as Parent Child Psychotherapy (CPP) for addressing trauma in early childhood (0-6), and am a member of the New Jersey Association for Infant Mental Health. I also have training in equine assisted psychotherapy and am a member of the Professional Association for Therapeutic Horsemanship.
