Immigration Psychological Evaluation

We provide psychological evaluations for individuals who have legal representation and one of the following types of cases…

• Extreme Hardship Waiver (601 & 601A)

• Victims of Criminal Activity (U-Visa; I-918)
• Victims of Severe Labor or Sex Trafficking (T-Visa; I-914)

• Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA)
• Medical Disability Waiver (N648)

Once you have called us and scheduled your appointment in either the NJ or virtually, please complete the intake paperwork in our client portal. You will be providing detailed information about your history that includes family history, education history, occupational history, financial history, medical history, trauma history, relationship history, psychiatric history, country conditions, etc. You will also complete several self-report psychological assessment measures at the time of your appointment.

A comprehensive, written report, usually 5-8 pages in length or longer, will be generated outlining important background information, current stressors and functioning, clinical conclusions and recommendations.

N-648 medical disability evaluations are conducted with English-speaking clients, in person, in our Montclair, NJ office as several instruments will also be administered to assess cognitive functioning, reading and writing skills as well as social-emotional functioning to determine if the client meets criteria for for disability exceptions, allowing US citizenship applicants with physical, developmental or mental impairments to waive the English and/or civics requirements. A comprehensive, written report will be generated, usually much longer in length, with clinical conclusions and recommendations.
